SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
A financial service client looking for a highly motivated Senior Finance Manager: Operations to contribute to and implement our strategy, lead people, improve systems, establish policies, and reduce risk. The successful incumbent will be comfortable with change, be proactive and frequently generate new ideas.
This role will report directly to the Financial Director.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
· Oversee day-to-day operations.
· Implement strategy and set goals for business growth.
· Maintain budgets and optimise expenses.
· Set business policies and processes.
· Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
· Manage debtor and creditors team.
· Maintain/ update Evolve reports for balance sheet reconciliations.
· Manage overall pricing strategy and related processes.
· Review and motivate new clients in line with credit risk guidelines, controls, and
· Policies.
· Direct the employee assessment process.
· Provide solutions to issues (e.g., profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).
· Maintain strategic relationships with executives and management teams.
· Combining efforts and fostering a collaborative environment within the business.
· Improve the capacity of the department by improving operational efficiencies.
· Development of team members through regular training and mentorship.
· Manage talent and succession planning.
· Preparation of budgets and forecasts.
· Prepare and manage monthly and annual report submissions and present these.
EDUCATION:
· CA(SA)
· Relative Business bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Experience with ERP system migration.
· At least +5 years’ experience in a senior leadership role in a similar environment.
· Proven experience as a finance manager
· Excellent planning and budgeting skills.
· Knowledge of business processes and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.).
· Strong analytical ability and experience in analysing large data sets and interpreting the data.
