SUMMARY:
My client is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager -that has experience as a GMR2.7 appointee for a heavy industrial manufacturing facility. Must have completed BSc/BEng/B Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with GCC -Government Certificate of Competency - Factories.
POSITION INFO:
People management experience is essential as you will be leading the multidisciplinary Engineering team to achieve the business objectives in Safety, Operational Excellence, Asset Management, Costs and Human Resource Development.
Responsibilities:
- Health, Safety, Environmental and Risk management compliance and application of best practices
- Enforce Engineering standards and apply asset management best practices to optimize the asset value
- Leading the multidisciplinary Engineering team
- Drive Operational Excellence, specifically availability, reliability, capability, efficiency and quality
- Cost optimization with a focus on managing the life cycle cost of assets
