SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity for a Senior Engineer experienced in the renewable energy sector to join a top engineering firm's Johannesburg office.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BEng., BSc., BTech in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering
Further qualification in renewable energy (preferable)
ECSA: Professional Engineer
Minimum of 7 years experience with at least 4 years relevant to project planning, development, EPC and O&M contracts and implementation of renewable energy projects
Experience in energy project finance
Proficient in MS Office and experienced in technical software such as PVSyst, Homer, DigSilent, Xendee.

Responsibilities include:

Project Management
Delivery of Lender's advisory, owner's engineer and design services within the renewable energy sector, including project planning and management, feasibility studies, concept design development and preparation of technical specifications and tender documentation with a focus on PV, wind, storage, minigrids/microgrids and grid systems
Writing technical reports and presentations
Business development
