SUMMARY:
My client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer who is Pr Eng registered to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, in-depth technical expertise, and a proven track record in successfully delivering complex engineering projects. This role involves overseeing electrical engineering designs, leading project teams, ensuring compliance with regulations, and liaising with stakeholders.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering design activities, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards.
• Oversee and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution and delivery.
• Conduct engineering design, procurement, and project management activities, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD) for design, and apply solar and battery software tools (e.g., Helioscope, Homer, PVSol) to enhance project outcomes.
• Perform project assessments and provide engineering solutions that optimize project performance and sustainability.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and documentation to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
