Senior Electrical Design Engineer

SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:

Designing chassis harnesses using advanced 3D CAD and 2D schematic software.
Crafting electrical systems, encompassing 3D wiring design in Siemens NX and generating 2D harness drawings and schematics.
Seamlessly integrating electrical components into various systems.
Assessing project scopes and efficiently managing timelines.
Creating comprehensive bills of materials and corresponding 3D assemblies using Unigraphics NX.
Implementing effective product data management by inputting designs and associated information into PDM software, such as Team Center.
Ensuring designs adhere to supplier specifications and regulatory standards.
Prioritizing cost-effectiveness, ease of installation, and maintenance during the design process.
Conducting thorough concept and design evaluations.
Collaborating with suppliers to optimize design solutions.
Analyzing results to ensure alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
Facilitating communication and coordination with other engineering disciplines and project teams.

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical design engineering.
Previous experience with OEM design is preferred.
Proficiency in 3D CAD software, particularly Siemens NX, is advantageous.
Familiarity with schematic design using Mentor Graphics Vesys is a plus.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail is essential for this role.
Excellent oral and written communication abilities are required.

Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
