POSITION INFO:

Our client, a leading organisation in the insurance industry, is seeking an experienced Senior Developer: Services to join their dynamic team. As a key contributor within the Services & Integrations team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable solutions that elevate the services and integrations landscape. Your expertise in Azure and C# within the .NET ecosystem will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of diverse systems, delivering high-quality services to clients.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent qualification.

Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:

6+ years of experience in developing and maintaining services and integrations with a strong focus on Azure and C#.
Proficiency in C# and hands-on experience with Azure services like Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Azure App Service.
Strong understanding of middleware technologies, message queues, and API development within the Azure ecosystem.
Experience with data transformation and integration patterns in Azure.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Azure Cloud Development: Design and implement scalable cloud-based solutions using Azure services for optimal performance and security.
Service Development with C#: Build, maintain, and enhance microservices and APIs within the .NET framework using Azure App Service.
Integration Solutions: Implement integration solutions connecting internal and external systems via Azure Integration Services, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
Middleware & Messaging: Manage middleware solutions and message queues to ensure reliable communication in Azure environments.
Data Transformation: Develop data mapping and transformation processes with Azure Data Factory, ensuring data quality and accuracy.
Continuous Improvement: Optimize services for efficiency and responsiveness using Azure Monitor and DevOps tools.
Testing & Code Quality: Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices like SOLID principles.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet business requirements and deliver integration solutions.
