POSITION INFO:

Senior Developer required in Johannesburg for a 12 month contract to lead the development efforts for an exciting project. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex features and integrations and will provide technical guidance to the development team, ensure code quality, and drive the successful delivery of the project.

Skills and Experience Required:

8+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
Expertise in .Net.
Extensive experience with front-end development.
Deep understanding of database design and development.
Strong experience with cloud technologies.
Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrations.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
An interest in sustainability and ESG principles is a bonus.

Qualifications and Technologies:

A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with Azure Blob Storage, AI engineering, and data architecture.
Proven experience in leading technical teams and driving project success.
Experience with the following Technologies
- .Net 9.0, Azure Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, SQL Server
- Python, LlamaIndex, Pandas, etc.
- Microservices, CQRS, EDA, Clean Code principles, etc.
- Vue.js 3, Nuxt, JavaScript/TypeScript, Tailwindcss, HTML, CSS
- Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Aspire, etc.
