SUMMARY:
One of South Africa's leading insurance companies is looking for a Senior Developer.

POSITION INFO:
Become an integral part of our front-end development team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain customer-facing applications that are scalable, robust, and responsive. As a tech-savvy mentor, you will guide junior developers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions, ensuring a seamless and intuitive end-user experience.

This is a hybrid/remote opportunity that allows you to work with top talent in the insurance industry while enjoying a flexible work environment. Duties:

Develop, enhance, and maintain web and mobile applications using .NET, React, and Angular.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Write clean, maintainable code in C# and follow SOLID principles.
Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient project deployment.
Automate deployment processes for faster project delivery.
Ensure code quality with rigorous testing and peer reviews.
Maintain clear documentation of your work.
Work closely with team members and participate in planning sessions.
Foster a collaborative team culture.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
Diploma or Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience:

7+ years’ experience in software development, focusing on web-based and mobile applications.
Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, and .NET frameworks.
Proficiency with MVC architecture, RESTful APIs, and server-side integrations.
Hands-on experience with Angular, React, and markup languages.
Knowledge of MS SQL Server and web technologies like JSON, REST, SOAP, XML, and Bootstrap.
Familiarity with browser testing, debugging, and deployment processes.
