Senior Desktop Support Technician

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Senior Desktop Support Technician to join their team in Polokwane.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure PCs and software components for optimal usability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Repair or replace damaged hardware and manage server support.
• Set up employee profiles, maintain printers, and perform daily backups.
• Data recovery
• Install and upgrade anti-virus software, evaluate new software and hardware.
• Provide first-line support, manage technical documentation, and establish strong inter-departmental relationships.

• IT-related qualification (A+, N+, MCSE certification preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Server and Desktop software.
• Strong fault-finding skills and experience with network printers.
• Own transport required.
