Senior Designer

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

• Architecture Designer/Draughtsman qualification.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience dealing with high end projects.
• Proven experience within a Senior Designer role.
• Minimum of 4 years experience within a managerial role.

• Lead and facilitate meetings, presentations, and workshops with clients and consultants independently, without the presence of a Partner.
• Play a key role in managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as a senior figure within the design team, mentoring junior team members and supporting their professional growth and development within the company.
• Oversee the work of junior team members and their projects while concurrently managing your own assignments.
• Effectively multitask and manage multiple projects running in parallel, coordinating with team members and managing your time to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery.
• Continuously seek to improve design standards and contribute to the overall development and skill-building of the team.
• Contribute to meeting target deadlines and provide valuable input on internal scheduling, programming, and team resource allocation.
• Promote and encourage supplier meetings to support the personal and professional growth of junior colleagues.
• Manage Post-Contract Site meetings independently, without the presence of a Partner.
• Demonstrate a strong ability to identify and resolve on-site issues efficiently and effectively.
• Have a clear understanding of project budget requirements and ensure that both you and your team adhere to the brief while designing within the allocated budget.
• Manage procurement budgets for interior projects as needed.
• Assist the Lead Consultant with the Interior Contractor Tender process, ensuring smooth coordination and clear communication.
