Senior Compliance Officer CPT
POSITION INFO:
My client from a Freight Forwarding Company is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to join their team in CPT
Responsibilities:
Customs Penalty Payments daily
Pay the deferment statements
Pay customs duties when the deferment account is depleted
Pay customs VAT when the deferment account is depleted
Daily review and check that the deferment account limits have not been depleted
Request Interim Statements weekly on the e-filing portal, which must be send to the GSO Customs team on a weekly basis
Matric
Minimum 3 years customs compliance experience
Valid Code 08 driver’s license and own reliable transport
The successful candidate must have a current clear compliance record with SARS
