  Salary: R360,000 per annum
  
  Company Overview:
  
  A leading quarry operation in Durbanville Hills is seeking a Credit Controller to manage and oversee credit control processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and effective debt collection. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling credit applications, debt recovery, invoicing, and credit risk management.
  
  You mist have worked in a construction business and worked with CGIC or one of those insurance companies.
  
  Key Responsibilities:
  
  Credit Management:
  
  Handle all credit applications and evaluate customer creditworthiness.
  
  Apply for CGIC cover to mitigate credit risk.
  
  Establish and control credit limits in line with company policies.
  
  Invoicing & Collections:
  
  Take full responsibility for invoicing processes, overseeing a team of five employees.
  
  Conduct age analysis and follow up on debt collections exceeding 60 days.
  
  Communicate with lawyers regarding outstanding debt collections and legal proceedings.
  
  Audit & Policy Compliance:
  
  Perform audit price checking to ensure pricing accuracy.
  
  Develop, implement, and maintain a Credit Control Management Policy.
  
  Ensure all transactions adhere to financial regulations and internal credit policies.
  
  Process & Relationship Management:
  
  Follow the credit note request process to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  
  Attend all sales meetings to stay updated on client transactions and concerns.
  
  Maintain accurate customer account lists, ensuring up-to-date records.
  
  Keep an updated own-risk customer list to monitor high-risk accounts.
  
  Required Qualifications & Experience:
  
  Education: Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (advantageous).
  
  Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in credit control or debt collection.
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment and debt recovery procedures.
  
  Proficiency in financial software and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  
  Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  
  Ability to work under pressure and handle a high-volume credit portfolio.
  
  Must speak Afrikaans.
