Are you an experienced Cost Manager looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a Senior Cost Manager to take the lead in managing cost control and budget planning for a variety of projects in Malta.

POSITION INFO:

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Serve as the key point of contact for cost management across multiple projects.
• Lead a team to ensure accurate estimates, cost planning, and financial reporting.
• Develop and present cost plans and budget breakdowns to clients.
• Oversee the tendering process, including documentation, procurement, and contract negotiations.
• Manage post-contract cost variations, change control processes, and final account settlements.
• Provide strategic cost advice to clients, identifying value-driven solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, legislation, and contractual requirements.

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of experience in cost consultancy or a similar role.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or a related field.
• Professional qualification or membership with SCSI, RICS, CIOB, or an equivalent institution (or working towards it).
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, industry regulations, and cost estimation methods.
• Proficiency in cost estimating software, Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD; knowledge of BIM is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• A strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• A valid driving license.
