Senior Cost Accountant

POSITION INFO:

Perform account reconciliations and prepare audit reports
Manage balance sheets and accounting records
Use financial software to identify cost inconsistencies and risks
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Collect and analyze operational cost data
Establish standard costs for manufactured goods and business processes
Conduct cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis
Prepare and analyze gross margin reports by product, customer, and business unit
Review cost allocation assumptions and drive financial efficiency
Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management
Analyze production costs, including raw materials, overhead, and operational expenditures
Identify cost-saving opportunities and collaborate with relevant departments
Support accountants with invoicing and capital expenditure management
Optimize financial processes to maximize profitability

Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5–10 years of proven experience as a Cost Accountant
Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of the textile or apparel manufacturing industry is advantageous
Experience with financial reporting and ERP systems
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills

Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Cost Management
CMA certification is advantageous
