Senior Civil Engineer (Water)

SUMMARY:
Progressive multidisciplinary engineering consultancy has a vacancy for a Senior Civil Engineer with a water and sanitation background.
Must have at least 8 years of engineering consulting and project management experience and be professionally registered with ECSA.
This is a permanent position to start in October.

REQUIREMENTS:

• PrEng / PrTechEng
• BTech or BSc Eng in Civil Engineering
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in water & sanitation (bulk & reticulation) and urban (general civils & bulk earthworks) projects
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills
• A valid driver’s license and own transport are essential

• Design and develop innovative water and sanitation projects
• Prepare detailed design layouts, calculations, and reports
• Collaborate on site meetings, handovers, and project administration
• Ensure quality control and safety standards are met on all projects
• Manage projects with guidance from senior engineers

• Market-related (dependent on qualifications and experience)
