Senior CAD Designer

SUMMARY:
A leading clothing and underwear supplier based in Durban North is seeking a skilled Senior CAD Designer to join their team.

The primary responsibility of this role is to interpret customer or internal design briefs and create detailed and accurate CAD drawings that closely represent the final product.

POSITION INFO:
These CADs should include all relevant product features such as sewing construction, packaging, and labelling details for customer presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create clear and accurate CAD drawings for lingerie, sleepwear, swimwear, and socks and other clothing products.
• Produce Specification CADs for Quality Assurance, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
• Support the team by assisting with
• Tech Pack creation.
• Take product photos and manage online filing and organization of design files.
• Research fashion and product trends online and in-store to help develop new products.
• Work closely with Merchandisers, Merch Assistants, QA, during development.

• Qualification in Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or CAD Design.
• Confident using CAD software - Adobe Illustrator.
• Good understanding of garment construction and sewing techniques.
• Able to take clear photos and organize files online.
• Creative eye for trends and product development.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines.
