POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at our Cape Town office. The successful candidate will assist the Financial Director/COO in all accounting matters and manage various financial functions.

Location: Westlake Business Park, Cape Town

Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial transactions.
• Account Reconciliation: Set up and manage debtor and supplier accounts; perform reconciliations; resolve queries; and ensure timely payments.
• Inventory Control: Manage stock items, barcodes, and inventory adjustments in the Pastel system.
• Costing and Commissions: Calculate cost of goods and process commission payments based on sales targets.
• Reporting and Payroll: Compile sales reports; align staff schedules with payroll; and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:
• Matric certificate
• Financial qualification
• Minimum 5 years'' experience in financial roles, including cost accounting and credit control
• Proficiency in Excel and Pastel (versions V13 to V19)
