Duties:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable software systems using C# and the .NET framework.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices to support various platform functions.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and product managers to build and deploy solutions.
• Provide second/third line support for systems within the business ecosystem.
• Analyse, resolve, and monitor performance and SLA-related issues in production environments.
• Mentor junior developers and support knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute to best practices, and lead technical discussions.
• Maintain clear documentation of system architecture, workflows, and processes.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• Minimum 7 years' experience in software development with focus on backend systems.
• Minimum 2 years in a senior software engineering or leadership role.
• Experience with Agile software development practices and DevOps pipelines.
• Exposure to containerisation (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Advantageous: Previous experience in online gaming or casino platforms.

• Proficient in C#, .NET Framework, and object-oriented programming.
• Expertise in RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server and writing efficient database queries.
• Experience with containerisation tools such as Docker (Kubernetes is a bonus).
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Familiar with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), in-memory stores (e.g., Redis), and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Desirable: Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Angular, Vue, or React.
