Senior Automotive Project Estimator

SUMMARY:
New vacancy is available for a Senior Automotive Project Estimator for our client in the Automotive Industry, based in Gqeberha.

POSITION INFO:
Duties:

• Understanding technical requirements of clients in the automotive industry.
• Creating of concept solutions required for potential projects.
• Checking of concept solution feasibility.
• Performing engineering calculations to determine required equipment and material specifications.
• Costing of hardware and labour required for potential projects.
• Preparing and formatting of offer documentation.
• Preparing and formatting of sales concept presentations.
• Completing project offers according to customer driven timing.
• Developing and creating of tools to improve the efficiency of project costing and offer creation.
• Working with engineers and project teams to identify areas of improvement for future project offers.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive or project engineering advantageous.
• Engineering based qualification required (NDip or higher).
• Experience in project costing advantageous.
• High degree in computer literacy in MS Office.
• Very good analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
• Pro-active work ethic.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
