Our client in the Automotive Industry is seeking a skilled individual for a Senior Automotive Project Estimator role.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive or project engineering advantageous.
• Engineering based qualification required (NDip or higher).
• Experience in project costing advantageous.
• High degree in computer literacy in MS Office.
• Very good analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

• Understanding technical requirements of clients in the automotive industry.
• Creating concept solutions required for potential projects.
• Checking concept solution feasibility.
• Performing engineering calculations to determine required equipment and material specifications.
• Costing hardware and labour required for potential projects.
• Preparing and formatting offer documentation.
• Preparing and formatting sales concept presentations.
• Completing project offers according to customer-driven timing.
• Developing tools to improve the efficiency of project costing and offer creation.
• Working with engineers and project teams to identify areas of improvement for future project offers.
