SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Application Development Specialist to design, develop, and implement high-quality software applications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in application development, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for creating innovative solutions that solve business challenges.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and high-performance applications.
Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure the application architecture is modular, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring high code quality and performance.
Perform code reviews, provide mentorship, and assist junior developers in their growth.
Develop and maintain APIs, web services, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and post-launch support.
Conduct troubleshooting, performance tuning, and debugging to resolve technical issues.
Maintain and enhance existing applications, ensuring that they continue to meet evolving business needs and are in line with new technologies.
Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends, programming languages, and frameworks to ensure the development of innovative solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in application development.
Expertise in multiple programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, .NET, etc.).
Strong experience with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React, etc.).
Proficiency in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, etc.) and experience with database design and optimization.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and modern DevOps practices.
Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud-based infrastructure.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
