Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams and report to the IT Manager
• Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with strategic enterprise architecture
• Define and manage non-functional requirements and ensure they are met
• Organise development tasks and provide accurate estimations
• Ensure software design and implementation meet architectural goals and quality standards
• Support business analysts and other project members to ensure functional feasibility
• Identify and manage technical project risks and mitigation strategies
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Act as a subject matter expert on key technologies

Skills & Experience Required:

• Relevant degree, diploma, or certification in Computer Science or related technical field
• 8+ years of development experience
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
• Proficiency in C#, .NET 6, .NET Core, SQL Server, Blazor, HTML5, and CSS
• Experience developing web solutions and working with APIs and RESTful web services
• Ability to develop unit tests and familiarity with DevOps automation (beneficial)
• Previous experience in the insurance industry (advantageous)
