The University of Fort Hare seeks to appoint appropriately qualified and experienced candidates for a vacant post in the office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor: Teaching and Learning.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements:

Qualification in Office Management/Administration or in a related field (NQF level 7).

3 years’ experience in Office Management and Administration Support, preferably at a senior level.

3 Years’ experience at a Higher Education Institution.

Responsibilities Include:

Office Administration, including, Secretarial (Personal Assistant) role to the DVC
Management of the office and diary of the DVC, bearing in mind the complexity of managing the DVC’s activities across campuses.
Provides an effective interface between the DVCs’ office and all levels of the University community.
Meetings, event coordination and management, including administration of the relevant meetings (agenda compilation, minutes and reports)
Implement administrative duties of the departments, HOD’s and faculty events and resource mobilisation activities related to the DVC
Public Relations, including maintaining relations with internal and external stakeholders.
Travel management, including bookings for local and international trips
