Our client is on the lookout for a skilled Senior Accounting Officer with both accounting and audit experience to join their growing finance team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for managing financial processes, conducting thorough audits, and providing strategic insights to drive their financial success.

Minimum requirements:

• Matric
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Internal Audit, will be advantageous
• Minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting or auditing environment
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Valid RSA driver's license and own vehicle
• Experience in performing internal audit procedures
• Experience with the submission of SARS returns, are required
• Experience in Trial Balances and VAT
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Pastel, are required

Duties and responsibilities:

• Organising and processing financial information, up to and including Trial Balance
• Drafting budget proposals and management reports
• Monthly reporting
• Bank, VAT, debtors, and creditors reconciliations
• Submission and calculation of VAT
• Maintenance of financial and administrative filing systems
• Ability to convey financial information to management

Remuneration:

R 25 000 CTC, depending on experience (incl. Provident Fund) + 13th Cheque
