Do you live in the Edgemead area, have your financial qualification with min 10 years Accounting experience and are looking for a career move for long term position based close to home?

Join our clients successful team based at their Head Office. They are a supplier of fresh produce to retail stores who have grown a highly successful South African business to date.

Experience in the fishing or butchery trade will be highly advantageous.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

Â BCom or equivalent
10 yearsâ experience in Financial Management or minimum 10 yearsâ experience as Senior bookkeeper
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skill and attention to detail
Fresh produce -Fishing/Butchery trade experience is an added advantage
Proficiency in Sage Evolution and Microsoft Office programs
Ability to make changes with systems to work more efficiently

DUTIES

Â Reporting to the CEO
Cash book
Creditors and Debtors control
Management accounts
Budgets: Prepare and capture monthly
Annual projections
Cash flow
Manage inventory and stock levels
Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives
Commissions
Monthly sales Matrix
Financial Trading: Addendum
Journals: Accruals, Provisions, Commissions, Depreciation etc
Fixed Asset Register: Updated as required
Supervise and manage team by establishing financial systems and processes
Develop pricing strategies to maximise profitability
Payroll
VAT (Prepare and check with auditors)
PAYE
Financial strategic planning
Costing and pricing
