Duties:

• Investigate and allocate costs, ensuring proper revenue association.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, budget vs. actual reports, and forecasts.
• Handle VAT submissions and ensure compliance.
• Oversee monthly payroll processing and financial transaction recording.
• Manage monthly closing, journal entries (e.g., amortisation, depreciation, payroll), and accounting tasks.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain cash book in the GL.
• Maintain fixed asset register, ensure physical verification, and perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Assist with audits, prepare annual financial statements, and support the budgeting and forecasting cycles.

• Matric (Grade 12)
• BCom Finance / Accounting
• BCom Honors
• CA(SA) or CIMA

• Completed SAICA Articles
• Big 4 exposure is a big plus!
• 5 – 8 Years experience as an accountant.
• VAT and Tax knowledge

• Good knowledge of IFRS and IAS
• Effective Communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing environment
• Good knowledge of Accounting software & Microsoft Application
• Professional and Technical Expertise
• Ability to read and interpret contracts
• Experience with ERP implementations
