As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of 20–30 adviser practices and play a crucial role in strengthening and maintaining client relationships. Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer account management.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Lead and resolve complex client challenges in collaboration with internal teams.
• Ensure the timely delivery of management and payment reports.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Train, mentor, and support junior account managers.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Duties

• Daily communication with clients to request and process bank and commission statements.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure data integrity.
• Follow up with providers to obtain commission statements.
• Manage unlinked items with clients and partners, ensuring all information is complete.
• Conduct quality checks to align data with client expectations and guidelines.
• Prepare and finalise client reports for specified periods.
• Engage in follow-up meetings and correspondence to address corrections or evolving client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in finance or a related field (essential).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a leadership position (essential).
• Experience in South Africa’s financial services or financial planning industry (advantageous).
• Proven expertise in managing large datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in a variety of software and tools.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a collaborative approach.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and administrative capabilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans.
