Selling Sales Manager

POSITION INFO:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Selling Sales Manager to lead and drive the sales team while actively participating in the selling process. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a strong sales track record within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the sales and marketing efforts for both new and pre-owned vehicle departments.
• Actively engage in the sales process, closing deals and driving individual sales.
• Set and meet monthly sales targets for the team and for personal sales.
• Motivate, train, and manage the performance of the sales staff.
• Evaluate trade-ins, determine vehicle pricing, and manage stock efficiently.
• Report and liaise with head office on monthly sales performance and marketing strategies.
• Lead advertising efforts to promote inventory.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Sales Manager or Selling Sales Manager in the automotive industry.
• Extensive experience in vehicle sales with a proven ability to achieve personal and team targets.
• Experience working in a corporate-branded dealership.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Valid South African driver’s license and a clear criminal record.
• Grade 12 or equivalent; tertiary education is advantageous.
• Experience with Audi and Volkswagen brands is essential.
