SUMMARY:
Our client specializes in project support for the (petro) chemical and maritime industries. They provide personnel in the areas of Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Operations, Maintenance, and Safety. They are seeking a Security Specialist - Technology Operations to join their team in the Netherlands.

POSITION INFO:
Job Title: Security Specialist - Technology Operations
Location: Netherlands
Salary: To be discussed in the Interview
Vacancy Type: Full-Time

Non- negotiable qualifications and experience required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in IT security operations.
Knowledge of firewalls, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.
Location Requirement: Candidates should either be South African residents currently living in the Netherlands or South Africans willing to relocate to the Netherlands.
Fluency in Afrikaans (both written and spoken).

Beneficial requirements:

Familiarity with security standards like ISO 27001.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Duties and responsibilities:

Implement and maintain security technologies across IT infrastructure.
Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
Conduct periodic security audits and risk assessments.
Collaborate with teams to enforce security protocols and compliance.
Develop and update security documentation and processes.
