My client is a leading security company specializing in comprehensive security solutions, including 24-hour control room monitoring, on-site guarding services, and state-of-the-art security equipment installations. Their commitment is to ensure the safety and protection of their clients' assets and personnel through innovative security strategies and dedicated service.

They are seeking a mature, energetic individual to oversee and manage daily operations within the security division. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards, streamlining processes, and driving the achievement of organizational goals. This role demands a proactive leader with a deep understanding of security operations and a passion for excellence.

Key Responsibilities: (Areas covered: Gauteng Province and Western Cape, South Africa)

• Oversee the daily operations of the 24-hour control room, ensuring efficient monitoring and rapid response to incidents.
• Supervise and coordinate on-site guarding services, ensuring all personnel adhere to company policies and client requirements.
• Manage the installation and maintenance of security equipment, ensuring functionality and compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
• Recruit, train, and mentor security staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Liaise with clients to understand their security needs and ensure the delivery of tailored security solutions
• Prepare and manage budgets for security operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising service quality.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure the company remains at the forefront of security services.

Pre-requisites:

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualifications in the field of Management, Project Management, Security Management etc
• Grade A Certification with valid PSIRA Registration.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar position within the security industry.
• Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including security management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.
• Strong leadership qualities with a proven track record of managing and motivating teams.
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, risk management, and emergency response planning.
