SALON HYBRID - Beauty Therapist & Salon Coordinator

DURBANVILLE, (Northern Suburbs) Cape Town - South Africa

START: A.S.A.P / November 2024

REPORT TO: Salon Owner

TRADING HOURS & SHIFTS:

• Tuesday - Friday 07:00 - 19:00 (8-hour shifts) / rotate open & close
• Saturday 07:00 - 16:00
• Sunday & Public Holidays - by appointment only
• CLOSED on Mondays 

SALARY & COMPANY BENEFITS:

• R6,500 Basic Salary Per month
• R1,500 Skills Bonus per month (for admin & social media duties)
• Services Commission 15%
• Retail Commission 10%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. Certified Beauty Therapist / Nail Technician with ITEC or similar accredited certification
2. Confident in all nail products including Nail Polish, Gel Polish, Rubber Base and Acrylic
3. Certified in Lash Extensions (Classic Lashes) | Bonus - Volume & Hybrid
4. Computer literate and confident - especially with social media (Insta & Facebook & Canva)
5. Afrikaans confident (speak / understand)

EXPERIENCE:

1. Beauty Salon / Nail Bar / Spa experience required
2. Experience working with Bio Sculpture & Rubber Base
3. Experience offering classic lashes
4. Experience working in reception or as Head Therapist

SKILLS:

1. Manicure & Pedicure (Including Gel Polish) with confidence in hand/foot massage
2. Nail Art - BONUS
3. Lash Extensions 
4. Other beauty treatments - BONUS
5. Computer skills
6. Admin skills
