A leading company in logistics and commodity trading is looking for a driven and skilled Sales and Marketing Manager to join their team. This role is integral to expanding the company’s reach and driving business growth across the African market. POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
Expand the company’s presence in the African market by promoting its commodity trading services and identifying growth opportunities
Build and nurture strong, lasting partnerships with clients across the region
Craft and implement effective marketing strategies to increase brand recognition and capture market share
Seek out and secure new business deals through proactive engagement and high-level negotiations
Ensure all contracts are executed seamlessly, adhering to trade regulations and Incoterms
Manage your own sales pipeline, driving deals to completion independently
Travel within South Africa and across Africa to meet clients and represent the company at key events
Qualifications and Skills:
Proven expertise and success in commodity trading within African markets
A university degree in a related field
Strong knowledge of international trade regulations and Incoterms
Willingness and ability to travel locally and internationally
Valid driver’s license and passport
Must be a South African citizen or hold permanent residency
Fluency in French is a strong advantage
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
This role is fully independent, focused on personal sales performance without team management responsibilities
