Sales and Marketing Manager

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Marketing Manager to join a leading logistics and commodity trading company. This individual will play a key role in driving sales and business development across Africa. If you have a proven track record in commodity trading, a deep understanding of the African market, and a passion for building relationships, we would love to hear from you.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:
Drive the sales of commodity trading services across Africa, focusing on growth and market expansion
Build and maintain strong client relationships within the African market
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and market share
Identify new business opportunities and lead negotiations to secure deals
Ensure smooth execution of contracts and compliance with Incoterms
Manage your own sales pipeline and close deals independently
Travel as required within South Africa and across Africa to meet clients and attend key events

Key Requirements:
Proven track record of success in commodity trading in Africa
Relevant University degree
In-depth knowledge of Incoterms and trade regulations
Prepared to travel within and outside South Africa
Valid driver’s licence and passport
South African citizen or permanent resident
Knowledge of French is a distinct advantage
Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

No team management responsibility: this is a self-driven role focused on individual sales
