Are you an experienced sales professional with a strong background in global freight forwarding, logistics, and commodity trading? A leading company in logistics and commodity trading is looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to drive business growth and expand market reach across Africa.
POSITION INFO:
Job Description:
Develop and implement strategic sales & marketing initiatives to grow the company’s footprint in Africa
Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring top-tier service and satisfaction
Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive engagement and high-level negotiations
Manage your own sales pipeline, from prospecting to deal closure
Ensure contracts comply with international trade regulations and Incoterms (2020 version)
Travel locally and across Africa to meet clients, attend industry events, and represent the company
Skills & Experience:
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, customs compliance, and logistics solutions
Proven experience in commodity trading and business development within African markets
Degree in a relevant field, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Valid driver’s license & passport, with a willingness to travel
Fluency in French is a strong advantage
Must be a South African citizen or hold permanent residency
