Sales Representative - Laboratory Equipment

Our reputable Client offers a wide range of innovative laboratory equipment to cater for diverse research and development needs in a variety of sectors.  They are recruiting a self-motivated and determined Sales Representative to focus on selling biotech and laboratory equipment to customers in the biotech, cell culture, academic and research, clinical and medical research, as well as the pharmaceutical market.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the Gauteng South region and Bloemfontein
- Identify new sales opportunities and grow the customer base
- Engage with scientists, researches and laboratory managers on a technical level to understand their needs and recommend suitable solutions
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and customer reengagement
- Provide technical product information and conduct product demonstrations where necessary
- Stat up to date with industry trends and competitor activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order fulfillment

Requirements:
- Science-related qualification (e.g. Biotechnlology, Microbiology, Chemistry or related field)
- Some sales experience in a laboratory or scientific environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Quick learner who can grasp technical product details and market trends
- Self-motivated, target-driven and able to work independently
- Not afraid to engage with scientists and discuss technical details
- Much have a valid driver’s license and be will to travel within Gauteng and periodically to Bloemfontein
