SUMMARY:

A multinational food hygiene company providing cleaning services and hygiene chemicals to food processing plants and abattoirs, requires the above to be responsible for sales and marketing within the KwaZulu-Natal area.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have Grade 12
A Degree/Diploma in Food Science, Chemistry or Microbiology will be an added advantage
Sales experience into food and beverage manufacturers and abattoirs is essential
Must have excellent negotiation and communication skills
Strong new business development and key account management skills is advantageous
Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel when required

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Developing new business into food manufacturers and abattoirs to provide a full hygiene service as well as chemical sales.
Maintaining and building client relationships.
Meeting monthly sales targets.
Liaising with management, providing sales and client reports.
Monitoring sales trends and providing feedback to senior management.
Increasing market share in the region with the provided resources.
Developing and implementing product demonstrations in the region.
Investigating, understanding, capturing and communicating customer requirements.
Creating a demand for hygiene products and services.
