SUMMARY:
Sales Representative Cape Town (Insulation Products)
POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate must be able to fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:
- Identifying new Customers and business opportunities.
- Managing Cape Town branch.
- Making recommendations on advertising for Cape Town Market.
- Preparation of formal quotations.
- Working with Financial Manager on Credit Controls.
- Gathering and external distribution of Technical Information.
- Calling on Customers and Main Contractors and all Professionals.
- Presentations to Professionals.
- Liaising with Sales administration, Specifiers and the following up on leads.
- Customer relations and dealing with Customer complaints in association with Sales Director and Production Manager.
- Updating records of Customer Survey.
- Checking on monthly invoicing
- Attending presentations/expos.
- Site Inspections and making cold calls where appropriate.
- Training Sales Staff at Hardware Stores.
- Attending sales meetings.
- Monthly reporting – Call Sheets.
- Grow sales market on new products.
- Management of own team of 2 employees.
Education/Professional Qualifications
- Matric
- Certificate in Customer Relations Management or Sales will be added advantage.
Work Experience & Skills requirement
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of all insulation products.
- Knowledge of the Building Industry and Regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
