SUMMARY:
A well-known International Chemical company requires the above to sell agricultural chemical products to the agricultural manufacturing companies in South Africa. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, managing client relationships, and expanding market presence.
POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share.
- Manage and expand the customer portfolio within the agricultural chemical sector.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively.
- Collaborate with technical and R&D teams to provide clients with tailored solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Key Account Manager in the chemical sector, preferably in agrochemicals and/or minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical role focused on agrochemical products.
- Ideally a Degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Agronomy, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Person can be based anywhere in South Africa
