POSITION INFO:
Qualification

Tertiary Qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or Metallurgical) is essential

Requirements

Minimum of 10 years in Rubber Industry exposure with strong proven track record in leading sales teams
Exposure in a process plant is an advantage

Duties

Sales and marketing strategy and targets are set and managed
Existing business is retained at agreed percentage and market share is increased by obtaining new business
Departmental sales performance is monitored and managed
Improvement areas are identified and strategies implemented for added value opportunities
Immediate action is taken on non-compliance issues
Monthly/annual sales budget is set/met, area sales strategy and targets are set/managed
Three monthly order forecasts updated monthly
Market research is conducted in designated areas and presentations are delivered to customer as required
Marketing events and activities are arranged as per Strategy
Presentations are delivered to customers as required, opportunities are supported with point-of-sale
material and quarterly presentations to management of market research and marketing activities in own area
are done
Manpower capabilities for the department are planned, selected/developed, company HR and Disciplinary
policy is adhered to
All expenditures are managed as per company policy
Team performance is monitored/managed where necessary, sales force KRA’s are managed
Technical direction is provided as required, objectives and targets are reviewed against standards
