Key Responsibilities:
 

• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive growth
• Create and manage the annual sales budget and targets for all regions, including international
• Monitor sales performance and provide monthly reports to management
• Present strategic plans to enhance client outcomes and satisfaction
• Achieve margin targets set by management
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Keep a pulse on market trends, competitor behaviour, and provide valuable feedback
• Collaborate with planning, purchasing, and logistics teams to optimize contracts, availability, and pricing
• Manage and grow your customer base in the Western and Eastern Cape, while expanding into Southern Africa
• Lead, train, motivate, and develop the sales team
• Ensure up-to-date contract and customer information in Sage
• Uphold ethical standards and comply with all regulations and laws

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in a Key Account Manager or Sales Manager role in the food industry
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills
• Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities
• Goal-oriented, assertive, and able to thrive under pressure
• Outstanding people skills and leadership abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel across regions
