SUMMARY:
JOB TITLE: Sales Manager
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the liquor store.
• Ordering of liquor store stock from suppliers.
• Supervision of staff.
•  
• Dispatching of stock.
• Compilation of the staff schedules.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store and its displays.
• Oversee cash management, including handling cash transactions, balancing the cash register.
• Preparing the in-store promotions and marketing.
• Drive & develop key relationships with customers on an on-going basis.
• Recruitment of new customers for the liquor store.
• Achieve Sales budgets margins, per month and annually.
• Stock management-ordering stock, making sure stock is always available to customers.
• Sampling distributions in stores.
• Control operational expenses.
• Control stock levels; replenishing and maintenance.
• Manage shrinkage and damaged stock.
• Ensure accurate stock holding as per targets.
• Manage customer complaints and queries, ensuring high levels of customer service.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Matric and Diploma.
• 5 years relevant experience.
• Essential: 2- or 5 more-years relevant experience in a sales role within the retail environment.
• Understanding the fundamentals of pricing and hedging.
• Understanding of sales agreement contracts, supply contracts.
• Development of business plans.
• Sales forecasting, planning, and monitoring.
• Good administration skills (managing contracts, deal confirmations etc.).
• Excellent communication skills for customer interaction.
