Sales Manager

Manage a team of Sales Reps and agents to drive sales and growth within the FMCG space. Exciting well-known brand.

POSITION INFO:

Are you a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager who can lead the sales team and drive growth within the FMCG sector? If you have a proven track record in sales management, with a focus on retail sales, white label accounts and forecourt drives, then this role might be of interest to you. You will be involved with the overseeing of a team of sales representatives and agents across South Africa, optimizing sales performance and enhancing the brands'' market presence.

Considerations and Qualifications:

• A relevant tertiary degree/diploma
• Minimum 5-7 years experience in a sales management role gained within the FMCG foods category
• Strong team manager with excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficient / Computer literate using MS Excel and other relevant software
• Analytical with good organisational skills
• Financial and business acumen is essential with a solid understanding of SALES PERFORMANCE METRICS.
• Availability to travel frequently is integral to the role - maintaining a high level of in-store presence, attending client meetings and achieving business development objectives
