SUMMARY:
Our client is renowned for providing the right solutions for over-pressure protection; flow, level and density measurement; automation and control requirements. We are recruiting a highly motivated and results-oriented individual to join their team as a Project Sales Engineer. This role will be based at Johannesburg Head Office and will involve collaborating closely with the Instrumentation Division and Projects. The primary objective of this position is to drive sales growth, increase brand awareness and to secure vendor enlistment to win EPC projects within the region.

POSITION INFO:
Sales Engineer Specification:
- Instrumentation/Technical qualification an advantage.
- Extensive technical knowledge of Instrumentation would be an advantage.
- Instrumentation knowledge or experience would be an advantage.
- Good sales background with a proven track record is advantageous.
- Must be a self-starter (go getter).
- Must have own reliable transport and be willing to travel.

Calling on and Servicing Existing Client Base:
- Planning and making sales calls.
- Completing and submitting call plans and reports.
- Prepare and submit quotes to customers.
- Prepare and present sales presentations.

Expanding Existing Client Base:
- Planning and making sales calls.
- Completing and submitting call plans and reports.
- Prepare and submit quotes to customers.
- Prepare and present sales presentations.
- Cold calling to identify and secure new customers.

Contribution to Branch Profitability:
- Ensure that sales budgets are met.
- Planning and executing of market penetration strategies.
- Gain and maintain in depth knowledge on company’s products.

Quality of Services Rendered:
- Liaise with customers on a regular basis to ensure that service levels are meeting expectations.
- Evaluate policies and procedures with respect to their impact on customer satisfaction and make recommendations where required.
