About the Role

Our client, a highly respected leader in the mechanical transmission industry, is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to join their team. This role offers the chance to work with a well-established brand known for its low staff turnover and exceptional industry training.

Key Responsibilities

Managing and growing relationships with existing clients across Southern Africa via email, online meetings, and in-person visits.
Driving new business development within Mining, Mining Equipment, Machine Building, and Consulting firms.
Assessing client needs and conducting drive dimensioning.
Preparing and delivering technical proposals.
Presenting product information and conducting product demonstrations to clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Qualification: Trade, Diploma, or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Approximately 5 years'' experience as a Sales Engineer, specialising in capital projects related to:
- Mechanical or Hydraulic Drive Systems
- Gearboxes
- Mechanical Transmission
- Materials Handling Plants
