SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking a qualified Safety Officer to join a dynamic team .This position is ideal for a proactive individual who is passionate about ensuring a safe working environment.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Develop and implement safety policies and procedures
Provide safety training and awareness programs for all employees
Ensure that all equipment and machinery are maintained according to safety standards
Investigate accidents and incidents to identify causes and recommend corrective actions
Monitor and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on-site
Manage and coordinate emergency response procedures and drills
Maintain accurate safety records and reports
Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and compliance

Requirements:

Must be registered with SACPCMP (South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professionals)
Confined Space and Heights Certification
SAMTRAC or NEBOSCH
