POSITION INFO:
Our client, a trailblazer in Slurry Pumps, is in immediate need of a SHEQ Manager to bolster their team. The role of the SHEQ Manager oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure organizational compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality standards. Key duties include conducting risk and health assessments, providing training, investigating incidents, ensuring compliance with legislation, promoting sustainability, managing waste, overseeing quality control, and conducting regular audits. Education:

• Safety Management Degree
• Quality Management Qualification.
• SAMTRAC Certificate.

• Develop and implement SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) policies and procedures
• Conduct risk and health assessments
• Provide training on safety and health standards
• Investigate incidents to determine causes and prevent future occurrences
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and quality legislation
• Promote sustainability and environmentally friendly practices
• Manage waste disposal and hazardous materials
• Oversee quality control processes
• Conduct regular safety, health, environmental, and quality audits
• Prepare and present SHEQ performance reports to senior management
• Maintain accurate documentation of SHEQ activities
• Lead and manage the SHEQ team
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders on SHEQ matters
• Manage the SHEQ budget and resources
• Stay updated with the latest SHEQ trends, technologies, and best practices
