POSITION INFO:

SHE Specialist required for an automotive manufacturing company based in Pretoria , Gauteng

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma (Safety Management)
• ISO 14000 (Internal Auditor)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within a SHE department
• Ensure compliance to SHE legislation and other requirements (Standards, Best Practices, etc.)
• Oversee Contractors providing SHE services
• Maintain and update Site CIP

Responsibilities:

• Achieve the annual SHE Operational Plan in accordance to set targets
• Develop, update and maintain SHE Policies, Procedures, Protocols, Work Instructions, Codes of Practice, etc.
• Advise on the SHE requirements for new Projects and Developments
• Coordinate incident/accident investigations and conduct investigations into workplace incidents
• Maintain and update the Emergency Action Plan
• Assume overall responsibility for the integrity of the Site Security System
