SUMMARY:
The Senior SHEQ Officer is responsible for overseeing all Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) aspects on-site. This includes ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, implementing risk mitigation strategies, and maintaining safety standards. The role also involves conducting inspections, audits, and incident investigations to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications & Experience:

Grade 12 (Matric)
SAMTRAC Certification
Proficiency in Risk Assessments and Incident Investigation
Knowledge of ISO Management Systems
2-3 years of relevant experience
Clear criminal record
Experience in FMCG or Manufacturing environments is advantageous

Performance Expectations:

Ensure full compliance with OHS and environmental legislation.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential compliance risks.
Maintain accurate records of all safety, environmental, and risk-related activities.
