POSITION INFO:
A well-established South African retail group is looking for a skilled SAP Functional Analyst (Finance) to join their SAP Centre of Excellence team in Cape Town.
This role involves supporting and maintaining the SAP Finance solution, handling incidents, service requests and change requests to ensure efficient system performance.

As part of this dynamic team, you'll have the chance to play a crucial role in optimizing SAP Finance operations across various business units. Duties:

Support and maintain the SAP Finance solution.
Work closely with the SAP Centre of Excellence and IT development teams.
Act as the main contact for SAP FICO business process realisation.
Coordinate with SAP consultants as necessary.
Conduct solution reviews and feasibility studies to meet business needs.
Ensure quality standards are upheld while addressing system challenges.
Document business requirements and functional specifications.
Configure SAP Finance to address specific business objectives.
Oversee unit, integration, and business scenario testing.
Prepare training materials and provide user training.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues.

Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12)
BCom / BTech Finance
BCom Honours
SAP Finance Certification, (core modules such as AP, AR and FA)

Experience:

8 years of experience in SAP Finance support.
Hands-on experience with SAP S4 HANA, including SAP implementations.
Must be familiar with user training, system upgrades and SAP Solution Manager.

Skills & Competencies:

Must be able to manage multiple projects while working independently or within a team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to collaborate.
