SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) Functional Consultant (Expert)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an SAP Digital Manufacturing (DM) Functional Consultant (Expert) to lead and support the implementation of innovative SAP S/4HANA solutions within the vehicle recycling and dismantling process. The role involves SAP configuration, troubleshooting, integration testing, and applying Agile methodologies. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of experience, strong expertise in SAP DM, MM, and PP, and a solid understanding of digital production processes.

Essential Skills Requirements:
- SAP Digital Manufacturing Certification/Experience
- SAP Production Planning experience
- SAP SD/MM experience
- SAP S/4Hana experience
- Ability to take on additional responsibilities as outlined in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
Advantageous Skills Requirements:
- SAP Material Movement
- Inventory Accounting
- ABAP debugging (Workbench-related knowledge of new development/enhancements)
Qualifications/Experience Required:
- IT Degree and/or relevant qualifications
- 10+ years of experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Involvement in a new project concerning the vehicle recycling and dismantling process in the SAP S/4HANA environment.
- Working with industry-specific functions, including digital representations of Mixing, Dosing, Weighing, and Line Production Processes.
- SAP Configuration with focus on DM, MM, and PP.
- Understanding business requirements, preparing AS-IS and TO-BE documentation, and securing sign-offs for Business Blueprint documents.
- Updating and maintaining all functional documentation.
- Conducting Unit, Integration, and System Integration Security Tests.
- Monitoring and processing system activities, including Idocs.
- Applying Agile Methodology (e.g., sprints, scrum meetings, retros) in a DevOps environment.
- Conducting integration testing with other modules and processing interfaces, IDOC, and RFCs.
- Preparing cutover strategies and supporting go-live and post-go-live operations.
- Preparing user manuals and conducting training sessions for business process owners.
- Managing tickets and tasks, ensuring resolution within defined SLAs.
- Troubleshooting system issues and providing ongoing support.
- Executing changes through configuration and handling production support call analysis and resolution.
- Raising Change Requests (CRs) and writing Functional Specifications for them.
- Preparing and testing CRs and conducting regression testing.
- Interacting with consultants from other modules and providing transactional solutions through user interfaces.
